Botanical Name: Gentiana lutea

The roots and rhizomes are used internally to stimulate a weak digestion, relieving indigestion and wind. Gentian Root improves digestion increasing nutrient absorption. Gentian also stimulates the liver and gall bladder.

Other Uses

Used commercially to flavour liqueurs and Angostura bitters.
