Couch grass is used internally for kidney and bladder complaints, enlarged prostate, nephritis, urinary tract infections such as cystitis and urethritis.

Couch grass tea is a laxative and also known to lower cholesterol levels in the blood. Its cleansing action is also useful for gout and rheumatism. Couch Grass is quite nutritious containing Vit A & B, potassium and iron.

I usually purchase the 500g pack but they weren't available so decided to purchase the 250g packs. The taste of the tea in these smaller packs is distinctly different. It tastes as though it has been processed using chlorine or something of that nature. Again a very different taste. Not as happy as I have been with the larger packs.
