Valerian root tea is used as a non addictive tranquilliser to reduce anxiety, restlessness, nervous conditions, insomnia, the symptoms of menopause and PMT.

It helps to reduce blood pressure, relieves pain and muscle spasms.

Other Uses

Valerian is used as bait for trapping wild cats, rats and mice.

Relaxes my mind

Mudbricks clean Valerian root has major soothing and calming properties. Drinking a warm pot brew helps soothe anxiety during the day or sleep time. Valerian root has a musty smell but is sweet tasting when long steeped and sipped warm. I keep the root in a glass jar with lid, in the fridge to avoid smell in the pantry or attracting small creatures !
