Botanical Name: Jasminum polyanthum
History: Jasminum polyanthum, commonly known as pink jasmine or white jasmine, is native to China and Myanmar (Burma). It has been widely cultivated for its attractive and sweetly fragrant flowers. Description: Jasminum polyanthumis a fast-growing, evergreen vine that can reach lengths of up to 6 meters under optimal conditions. It has dark green, pinnate leaves with 5 to 7 leaflets. From late winter to spring, it produces clusters of fragrant, star-shaped flowers that are white on the inside and pink on the outside.
